Community Guidelines

Last updated September 17, 2026

arogaro is a place to meet people with kindness and respect. These guidelines apply to your profile, messages, posts and any events you attend. Breaking them can lead to your account being removed.

Be real

  • Use your real name and your real age.
  • Only upload photos that clearly show you, and that you have the right to share.
  • Do not impersonate anyone, including public figures, friends or other members.
  • One account per person — no duplicate, shared or fake profiles.

Respect and consent

Treat people the way you would want to be treated. Everyone is free to say no, to stop replying or to unmatch — respect that without pressure or argument. Take conversations at a pace both of you are comfortable with.

What is not allowed

  • Harassment, bullying, threats or unwanted repeated contact.
  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other identity.
  • Nudity, sexually explicit content or unsolicited sexual messages.
  • Soliciting money, gifts, investments or paid services, including sex work.
  • Scams, spam, phishing links or promoting other apps and businesses.
  • Anything involving minors. You must be 18 or over, and so must everyone you talk about or show.
  • Violence, weapons, illegal drugs or any other illegal activity.
  • Sharing someone else’s private information or photos without their permission.

Meet safely

Get to know someone in the app before meeting. For a first date, choose a busy public place, tell a friend your plans and arrange your own transport. Read our Safety Tips for more advice.

Reporting and blocking

If someone makes you uncomfortable or breaks these guidelines, report them. Open the chat, tap the ••• menu and choose Report or Block. Blocked members cannot find or message you. Reports are confidential — the other person is not told who reported them.

How we enforce these guidelines

Our team reviews reports and uses automated checks to find harmful behaviour. Depending on how serious a violation is, we may:

  • Remove a photo, post or other content.
  • Send a warning.
  • Temporarily limit features or suspend the account.
  • Permanently ban the account and prevent new ones from being created.
  • Share information with law enforcement where someone may be at risk of harm.
