Delete your arogaro account
You can permanently delete your arogaro account and its data at any time, right from the arogaro app. If you can’t access the app, you can ask us to delete it by email.
Delete your account in the app
- Open arogaro and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and tap Settings (the gear icon at the top).
- Tap Login & Security.
- Next to Delete account, tap Delete.
- Confirm by tapping Delete. You’ll be signed out and your account is deleted.
Just need a break? Choose Deactivate on the same screen instead. Your profile is hidden until you sign in again.
What gets deleted
- Your account and the email address you sign in with.
- Your profile: name, birthday, gender, interests, bio, phone number and discovery preferences.
- Your photos, and posts and media you shared in Explore.
- Your likes, passes and matches.
- Your conversations and messages. They are removed for the people you were chatting with too.
- Your event sign-ups, and posts you liked or saved.
What we keep, and for how long
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your profile, photos and messages within 30 days.
We may keep limited records for longer where needed for safety (for example, to prevent a banned member from returning), to resolve disputes, or to meet legal and accounting obligations. Records of subscription purchases are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.
If you have arogaro Gold
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel arogaro Gold first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so you are not charged again.
Can’t access the app?
Email privacy@arogaro.app from the email address you use to sign in to arogaro, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm the request. We will then delete your account and data as described above within 30 days, and let you know by email when it’s done.
